Dear colleagues and friends,
I am very happy to invite you to join us at another RAD conference! The 14th RAD Conference will be held at Hungest Hotel Sun Resort, Herceg Novi, Montenegro, in the period from June 15 to June 19, 2026.
Authors of abstracts from the RAD 2025 conference that fall within the scope of the Journal of Environmental Radioactivity (impact factor: 2.1) have been invited to submit manuscripts that will be considered for possible publication in this journal (after the regular peer review procedure). Accepted manuscripts will be published in a special issue of the journal dedicated to the RAD 2025 conference. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our colleagues and old friends for the effort they put into this idea: Prof. Dr. Sheldon Landsberger, Prof. Dr. Tibor Kovac, and Prof. Dr. Robert-Csaba Begy.
We are very pleased that more and more young people (students of all levels of study, postdocs, young researchers) are taking part in RAD conferences. We are sure that this is a very good conference for them where they have their oral sessions. On the other hand, experienced researchers, who are role models for young researchers, play a very important role at RAD conferences!
We do not want to say that this is one of the best conferences, although our team always tries to make it that way. The experiences and opinions of previous participants should give you an idea of whether this conference is really right for you. If you do not have the opportunity to hear the opinions of previous participants, you can view the galleries from previous conferences in order to possibly get the atmosphere of RAD conferences.
RAD conferences are certainly very specific and completely different from all other conferences. If this is what suits you, we will be very happy if you take part in the RAD 2026 conference.
